OSOLPC Questions and Answers.

 

Note: because we are in Pre Launch we have no questions posted right now.

At a later date we will open up the board as fully public meaning:

That you do not have to join to post.

WE have disabled this feature because we have not launched and are trying

to establish our format based on what people want to do.

We are also looking for Administrators, Moderators

and others duties.

 

Terms of Usage

But you may join and post now.

This is an OPEN Source type

Wiki which means:

All work is to be shared  that is posted here as original

and can be used by others free of charge.

We will be loading CC rules and Open Source rules real soon.

 

 

 About US

We are part of a Major watchdog NGO system and some of our sponsors are marketing

and media related interests.

We have only set up the space, connected the systems to work together

with the Official OLPC wiki and that's it.

A few people have joined but have chosen to be hidden.

If you would like to be hidden please email:::

and we will send you the email and pass word for that user name and you can post as hidden.

You can set up as many pages as you like.

 

Usage

 

You can create your own PDF file right from the PB Wiki of your page or pages.

If we deem that some of your pages are wasted or unused space we

will let you know and suggest you combine the page as a section until

you can get more content for your topic.

 

Or we will do it for you but we will not delete content form the system at

any time just re format the space.

 

Hacker or spam type stuff will have a section and not right away deleted only

bad words and statements will be edited out of the post.

 

The OSOLPC Staff controls decisions about the side bar.

 

Many people have different ways of gong about things and we want to

respect every one with in reason to have their say, just in the proper

way and the proper place.

 

We also do not take kindly to those that just make pages and take up space for no reason.

This was serious issue on OLPC Official Wiki and many peoples pages that in our opinion

were related were removed.

Because some people did this.

 

The format here is a lot more open and we encourage those who may have had to remove

their work to bring it here and feel free to use us for storage or notes that might not be

what OLPC is wanting right now, but still related and still important.

 

You can also link in by URL at The Official OLPC Wiki [4] to this PB Wiki we a totally

laptop.org friendly!

You also will be promoting people to see more of your work and ideas!

 

The feature to allow you to be hidden is built in as we just send you the one user name

and pass word for all to use on a one click action in the PB Wiki system only adding your

email address this takes about one day after you email us.
