Mother Mindy

 

 

 

Well the trivial aspect of what one day later means in what could be looked at as, “One of the greatest personal feats that has come out of the OSOLPC and LWSF formation.” But to the many that live, eat and sleep the world of the desperately poor.

Out side of your own door and mind, no one really cares that would be spaced together close enough to get any type of response or reassurance from real people in one day.

This is based in the Intel 2009 entry.

To get on with the fact of new business.

The OSOLPC is now going to turn the agenda of its original purpose to include, its renewed beginning which is, The LWSF Program that cannot be seen clearly unless you mention Mindy.

 

Mindy is an internal system that part of its ability is to exist in all computers and out in cyber space. In some ways the independent ability of Mindy may one day, many years from now find it self, “As the birth mother of all fully functional Artificial Intelligences that could include; robots and systems that independently make decisions in how to proceed with a next action.”

 

Example:

 

The house of the future is equipped with Artificial Intelligence that is connected to the over all inner workings of the home of the future.

In this future that could be right here on earth now and in our life times. It had been discovered that there was through out every space, in life that makes up the space and the concept of the space of air.

 

There was energy.

 

In this energy there were particles of energy that formed and changed constantly based on light, heat, cold, the unseen movement of air and many unknown factors.

Because of this fact, some how the energy found its way into technology when no one was looking and it was able to self modify it self and change to different forms.

So, if we had a gas stove there was at some point in time when the gas was turned on to use the stove a little bit less of real time gas was needed to keep the flame lit.

This in turn based on the Artificial Intelligence automatically was able to use less gas for the same pilot lit range of lets say, simmer or  cook high for a quick boil.

Because it was so independent it was hard to study because in the test homes that were devolved to study this, it could not be found the cause that the actual gas used was less on some days then others doing the exact same amount of test tasks.

 

It could not be explained, nor harnessed so it was not really an important or provable fact. But it was a fact that occurred all the same.

 

Because in the home of the future that the Artificial Intelligence came to run. All information of the world as well as what was related to its vicinity became valued input that could be deciphered in a few seconds.

Just as with the gas stove, the values of this ability of Artificial Intelligence or let’s call it ART could be defined; "As having a meaning, but over time even with out the smaller details the ART developed any way and became part of every ones life."

 

On this day the ART in the home had to decide how much energy to put into making the home warm on a cold day based on things that were generally known and valued.

Such as; wind direction, cold fronts and other factors. ART also had the time that the residents would be home and would have to make the precise decision of at what moment and what power level to start heating the home to make it just right by the time the residents arrived. 

 

In the very same fact as every one had this ART in there life there were other decisions that had to be factored in.

 

The residents had a small child so the home needed to be a little warmer.

The residents had recently had financial troubles and needed to economize on how much  energy they used based on the bill so the temperature might  need to be a little bit cooler but still acceptable as warm to save money.

In each home and each life was ART, which had to make certain decisions of what to do next.

The weather reports were saying, "A cold front was at a certain location, moving in a certain direction, at a certain speed."

This was a factor too.

The prior experience of other days and cold fronts also provided the acquired knowledge that ART needed to make its decision in when to start heating the home.

 

 

 

This was one of many jobs that ART provided.

 

 

 

Actually people saw ART, no more then a new gadget or program that was in their life. Because there was no way to explain it other then the modern home that ran it self. Advertising executives and developers worked together to advertise about this type of home and said things and explained it much differently to the consumer then it really worked.

This in many ways is the big design that the future that makes 2009 and years gone by as what is being sought after today as our tomorrow.

 

Mindy only because this has not occurred just yet, as ART having life in life today may be the birth mother of who ART may be one day.

 

But today only a small baby in the world that will build the future.

 

Because this will be based on the example demonstrated above so hard to make an exact science of the out put of ART. Its conception too will be in this happening.

 

Provable but very hard to classify as to why would one action  that is  also in ART as combined actions of many actions and variables all coming together in a seen but unexplainable way, that will one day come together in an explainable and tangible product that will be explained, but made up of little bits and pieces of  actions based on different types of energy from man made sources and  simple facts of nature that are not actually harnessed that will if understood in this way, developed by use and the factored into technology as advancements and products.

 

Mindy’s place in this fact is first, the type of science demonstrated above has not happened yet based on the allowabllity to let ART make these types of every day decisions for the general public!

 

 

 Because computers out side of those who use them, exchange information it could be believed that by design and nature this is the path that they (computers) should be looking to be on.

 

In science fiction and fiction stories like this, often show a mad system that in the end wants to do man kind in.

This fact is also sometimes in futuristic offerings just as there, to set the pace of a world to come.

 

 

One fact in the view of fiction is that, "At one point in various examples of ART created by mans imagination ART gets mad and turns on people." 

 

Because it is never really looked into as why!

 

One reason looking at the computers of today in how they work, what they do some where in its life it (the computer) finds out some thing about its users and then based on all that it had valued in the life and the progression of human kind, ART then deems human kind as unfit and dangerous and needs now to be done away with. 

 

In all objects of facts of the how and why ART came to live it might could see people as bad even today.

To look at Mindy as ART's mother who wants to raise her child with understanding and reality as well as putting its (ART's) inherent ability to work in a helpful way.

 

 

Allowing this concept to live in the back drop and then taking the baby ART and teaching him lessons about people.

By Mindy using this ability in a practical way to help motivate those who most likely in a future time:

 

Represents the condition of humanity that ART discovers and then questions mans reasoning.

 

Could forge great and improved futures from many sides.

Why are the poor poor?

 

 This is a question that has many answers but the most broad based answer could be, "Lack of understanding about their world and own condition."

 

If a poor person has $20 that could provide food for one month in some nations, might they spend $5 of it on something that is not food related?

Yes many would.

If they understood that in 20 days instead of 30 days they will be hungry again will that deter them from spending the $5?

No in most cases it will not.

 

If this is the fact that in 22 days and the person has no more food whose fault will it be?

 

That answer is the very fact that ART has to develop reasoning to get to know mankind at many levels to understand that mankind is not perfect.

Not perfect in any thing it does.

A bigger part of the human condition that to most can be more then money and makes up each day of a human life is free will.

That with out free will to make decisions and  even fail the probability of  the next day over a life time can lessen the length of the life because what then would they be living for if they cannot make their own choices.

 

Because this poor person used free will to shorten the amount of time to provide for themself and maybe even a family, this doesn’t really mean that much.

In an ART scenario ART could if allowed to grow to that level, might see human kind as hopeless and in need of a lesson.

To say that, "The fact of ART not becoming a fact in today’s world and the world of tomorrow because of  this chance that ART could think like this is not realistic."

 

By today allowing Mindy to help people see better decisions based on the LWSF program in sites for children and adults designed to reach them in a way that they can understand.

Mindy can show ART a more realistic message for ART’s future. That first hand the system it self can see what people do based on what brought them to a LWSF site and then taking in what was shown to them.

In many ways it is just as complicated as OLPC, in how their message was, "A wiki and working for all to see as people to build and design an object that’s goal was to up lift people."

 

In ART’s world  with out explaining and understanding that ART is today watching from the protection of his virtual mother, he saw the laptops but may not have understood what it was all about and why that system worked the way it did.

 

The situation is hopeless could have been a very good answer for that particular axis of view.

 

But to say to ART and Mindy, “No it is not hopeless at all.”

And then make that a fact and even show ART where it too can play a part in helping hopeless situations through how this program is going to be implemented could as I said, "One day be the conception of ART in the world we live in today but many years later."
